Who we are

We are Johan Norgren and Carin Lundquist from Stora Essingen in Stockholm city. We first came across the Staffordshire Bull terrier breed in 2004 when a staffie moved in to the house next door. At the time we had dog buying plans, but we still weren’t sure about what breed to pick. At the first meeting with the neighbour’s dog the choice was simple, and with the buy of the dog followed a bigger interest than just the dog itself. We soon discovered that with the purchase of a staffie, a new world opens. A world full of people with the same interest and with years of experience of the breed. By talking to these people and learning from their knowledge we took the step to become breeders ourselves.

We had decided in an early stage that shows weren’t for us, but with a lot of encouragement we wanted to get a judgment of Kia. After that we were stuck. Johan first started as the handler of Kia, but now Carin is Kia's handler and Johan is focusing on training Vixen.
Apart from the interest in staffies, we also share a big interest in motors and especially motorbikes, witch we both own and ride. Johan will soon be training future motorcyclists in his profession. We follow our favorite team in soccer, bandy and ice hockey in games and tournaments whenever we can. Carin is studying mathematics, Swedish language and sewing handicraft at the university for a future profession as a teacher. Carins interest in sewing is often displayed on the dogs when she is trying out new ideas.
